Van het jaar 2019 tot 2023 heb ik gestudeerd aan het Noorderpoort. The locatie is aan de muntinglaan in Groningen. Daar heb ik de opleiding tot netwerkbeheerder gevolgd. De opleiding was verdeeld over drie jaar.

Het eerste jaar was meer een algemeen jaar met een algemene introductie in IT. Van alle vlakken werd een kijkje gegeven zodat je kon kieze welke kant je op wilde gaan. In het tweede jaar kwam de eerste stage aan bod om ook kennis te maken met de praktijk die IT met zich meebrengt. In het tweede jaar wist je ook al of je IT beheer of netwerk beheer ging doen. Aan het eind van het tweede jaar werd er een grote opdracht opgelegd om al je IT kennis bij elkaar te testen, dit project heet Teradruk.

In het laatste jaar ging het vooral over stage en examens. Vanaf het begin van het jaar ging je direct op stage voor dertig weken en eent totaal van 1040 uur. Tijdens de stage was het ook de bedoeling om een eindopdracht te maken. Eigenlijk hetzelfde principe als Teradruk, maar dan in de praktijk gemaakt. Na de stages waren er alleen nog een aantal examens om de opleiding af te kunnen ronden.

From the year 2019 to 2023 I have been a student at Noorderpoort. The location is at the muntinglaan in Groningen. There I followed the course for network administrator. The course was devided into three years.

The first year was more general study in IT, so you could adjust to the subjects and to find the path you wanted to follow. After the first year I chose the network side of IT and continued the second year. In the second year of the course we had our first internship to get our first introduction of working in IT. This was the first part of the second year. After the internship and the regular subjects we had a final product for that year named Teradruk.

The final year was all about internship and exams. In the beginning of the year it was straight into internship. There were 1040 hours you had to complete to finish this part. After this there were a few exames left to fully complete the course for network administrator.
